Top 10 Favorite JDramas

If you guys haven't figured it out by now, I'm a huge fan of the Asian culture. Over the years, I've watched a lot of Jdramas and I thought I'd make a list of my favorite; maybe I'll give you some cool recommendations. Keep in mind that these are not new, and so far I haven't found any that I can add to my list. So here goes:

10. Hana Kimi / For You In Full Blossom

9. Hana Yori Dango / Boys Over Flowers

8. Gokusen Season 1

7. ライフ/LIFE

6. Seito Shokun! / Dear Students!

5. Great Teacher Onizuka

4. Rookies

3. Stand Up!

2. 1 Pound no FukuinOne Pound Gospel

1. Tokyo DOGS

Well there goes my list so far. I’m sure it will change as time goes by. Do you guys have any favorites?

  1. There is only ONE reason to watch GOKUSEN and that is Yukie Nakama! What a beautiful and talented actress! She’s really popular in Japan, she’s also starred in the Shiseido ads

  2. I like your taste in dramas! I haven’t seen half of the dramas you listed though like Life, Stand Up (though I’ve been told it is pretty good), Rookies (But it’s on my list to watch especially since Sato Takeru and Shirota Yu star in there), GTO, and Seito Shokun. I very much agree on your number one choice, Tokyo Dogs. Even though I began watching it for Hiro and Shun I ended up enjoying it as if the cast was full of my favorite actors. I really liked Juui Dolittle, the drama Shun starred in this year. He plays the mysterious guy again 🙂

  3. Your taste in JDramas is really good! I live just about every one that you mentioned! Especially One Pound Gospel. I’m a pretty big Meisa Kuroki fan (and I also love KAT-TUN) so I was really into that one for awhile. This is not a drama, but I think it’s a Japanese movie that fans of Jdramas would really like and it’s called Kamikaze Girls / Shimotsuma Monogatari. It stars Anna Tsuchiya, one of my favorite Japanese artists, and Kyoko Fukada, who is very popular in the Jdrama scene. 🙂
