Marchesa Runway show
Marchesa‘s princess-like dresses and gowns are loved by celebrities, and the fall collection offered another round of beautiful looks made with lace, tulle, velvet, and sheer fabrics. The palette, which included black, white, red, blush and pale blue, never overpowered the delicate, intricate designs by label founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig.
Oscar de la Renta show
Oscar de la Renta‘s fall collection included a range of textures (embroidery, tweed, wool, beading) and patterns (prints, stripes, and patchwork plaids). A few brights popped on the runway, including a green day dress with a black print, while the multi-color coats with fur collars also stood out. The legendary designer also added a few furry hats, shown, a chic way to stay cozy this fall.
Rodarte show
The Rodarte collection spoke to a Wizard of Oz reference, with looks inspired by Dorothy’s Ruby slippers closing the show.
Wow.. the first collection of dresses is amazing! Especially the eight one! That is stunning. I love the traditional Asian influences. 🙂
