J.J Abrams has always been affiliated with mysterious, high-tech and action packed filmography. For his latest mind blowing work, the director teams up with producer Steven Spielberg in bringing us all that he’s known for plus more. “Super 8” is a movie that keeps you interested and attentive, while being freaked out by spooky surround sounds and creepy extraterrestrial activities.  The movie opened up at the top of the Box Office, pushing “X-Men: First Class” to number two. The trailer didn’t really reveal much (perfect) but it left me in suspense and I wanted to see the film as soon as possible.

“Super 8” is set in the summer 0f 1979 and is based on a group of friends (kids) who became investigators after witnessing a strange train crash. Their investigation intensifies after mysterious events started taking place within their home town. I don’t want to give too much away just in case you haven’t seen the movie yet, but know that there’s something that will blow you away by the end. Go see “Super 8” now!
