It’s being reported that the British soul-jazz singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London residence after police discovered her body. The cause of death is unknown. Paramedics stated that the troubled singer had died before the ambulance arrived on the scene. Winehouse skyrocketed to fame in 2006 with her hit single “Rehab“. Her album “Back to Black” earned her a total of five Grammy Awards. However, her personal struggles overshadowed her singing career causing a tabloid frenzy. 

Winehouse was last seen at a concert on Wednesday, when she joined her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield on stage. The singer’s health was always in question but the sudden news of her death has left many, including close friend Kelly Osbourne, shocked. Some stars turned to their twitter page to express their feelings on Amy’s passing:
