Like millions worldwide, I too became a fanatic of the talented twins Tia & Tamera Mowry after watching their hilarious sitcom “Sister, Sister” back in the 90s. So best believe that I was completely thrilled at the fact that they’re back together for a new reality series. “Tia & Tamera Take 2” has recently began airing on Style network, where the sisters give viewers the opportunity to see what goes on in their daily lives. These ladies basically grew up on television, and now fans get to see first hand of what step they’re taking next. We’re granted full access into Tia’s marriage and how she’s coping with being a first time mom and we also get to see Tamera planning her wedding and facing negative feedback regarding her interracial union (bear in mind that the twins are bi-racial so such discrimination is utterly preposterous). The show just started but I already picked up on some things that I like about it: It’s so raw. Often times we’re seeing home video footage instead of some professional camera shots and this gives more proof of how unscripted it is. The sisters are far beyond perfect and that they’re just like us. They have problems that they’re dealing with and they’re working hard at building happy and joyful lives. It’s definitely the kind of reality show you can watch with your family. There’s nothing scanty or inappropriate just sisters coping with family life, love, and showbiz. Be sure to watch “Tia & Tamera Take 2” Mondays at 9 on Style network. Ya’ll need to watch!
