Breanne Düren is the kind of artist I have a ton of respect for. One that not only sings but writes her music as well. There’s a certain value added to a song when it’s genuine and being that she pours herself into her work then I think that’s what makes her very distinctive in the industry. After granting us an exclusive interview, the songbird also took some time to complete our tradition ’10 quickies.’ So, what are you waiting for? go ahead and check out her cool answers below:
1. What is your one-line positive thinking mantra?
Live with no regrets!
2. Describe your personality?
Soft spoken, thoughtful, open-minded.
3. What practices have you adopted that have led to a healthier lifestyle?
As simple as it sounds, staying hydrated, nourished, and well rested keeps me healthy on the road. Also, cutting refined sugars out of my diet while traveling gives me exponentially more energy!
4. The world is going green, have you embraced the trend?
I try my best! Living green on tour means re-using and re-cycling whenever possible, and that alone makes a big difference!
5. Provide us with a few tips and tricks for holistic living?
For me, listening to my body’s needs and respecting “moderation” helps to keep things in balance.
6. Describe your fashion style?
I’ve never been too flashy with my personal style. I just love feeling pretty and feminine in a great dress and some cute accessories!
7. How do you unwind after a long week?
My favorite “sacred me-time” thing to do when I get home from tour is a long, hot bath!
8. What empowers you?
Creating empowers me. Expressing myself through my music and my voice that I know is unique to who I am gives me a great sense of joy and freedom.
9. What is your favorite cuisine?
I love Asian cuisine – Thai, Chinese, Japanese, etc. I could do Korean barbecue any night of the week!
10. How do you creatively express yourself?
Music is my number one creative outlet. Nothing can describe what’s on my heart better than a song, a melody, a progression. Plus, I don’t think I was gifted the talent of visual artistry anyway, so I’ll just stick to singing! 8)
