Kim Jong Il is no more

North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, whose activities kept world security on its toes, has passed away. The feared dictator reportedly struggled with diabetes and heart disease for years, and is believed to have suffered a stroke. He was 69 years old. After news of his passing swirled around, South Korean President, Lee Myeong-Bak, called for a National Security Council Meeting and has placed the military on High Alert. Just in case anything should pop off I guess.

Kim Jong Il may not have been liked by many and some are even rejoicing at this moment hearing of his death. However, death of anyone no matter the kind of life they led should never be celebrated. He was a man afterall, with children, and I’m sure his family is in mourning so let’s just send our condolences through prayers, and hope that no one sees this passing as some kind of opportunity to cause trouble. This is just my opinion.

How do you feel about Kim Jong Il’s death?
