I Love a Good Scare.

Yes! I do. I enjoy watching scary movies simply for the excitement in begin scared out of my mind. Sadly, not all so-called scary movies have managed to do that. There have been a few though. From The Ring, The Grudge, The Shining, to the number one scariest movie of all time, The Exorcist. Notice the ones that really get me all start with ‘The’. In my opinion, there has to be something ghostly to make a movie considered horror. Films like Saw, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, or anything Zombie related aren’t the least bit scary in my book. They more amuse me than freak me out. Is that normal?

Why do I like scary movies? Well, I don’t know exactly, but there’s a thrill that I get from watching. My adrenaline gets going and I feel like screaming, crying, running, etc. My emotions are all over the place. And I like when movies or books get a rise out of me. I just love being entertained, even if it takes me getting scared along the way.
