Smart Jewelry – The Future of Accessorization

It’s become apparent more and more over the passing months that we are living in the age of technology, rocketing towards the future. The Apple iWatch is a great example of this, where we are to be able to have something on our wrist that can essentially control our home appliances, take phone calls, and have the internet at our fingertips.

This has heralded the way for new and innovative smart accessories, and by the year 2020, it’s been predicted that people will in fact all have immersed themselves in smart technology and will partake in the smart technology accessorization. If there is a time to merge fashion with technology, it is now.

As well as being able to access the internet, Google has also created a pair of augmented reality sunglasses, that really bring the “James Bond” meets “high fashion” feel to them, and enhances anybody who wears them. Accessories have always been highly regarded when it comes to fashion, as they can make or break an outfit or be a window into somebody’s personal style, so what better way to bring yourself into the future than to incorporate personal style with a futuristic feel.

Another great example of this is how silicone wristbands are being turned into payment devices for music festivals, really honing in on the 2008 style, whilst saving the hassle of carrying around cash. As smart accessories become more and more popular, there is no doubt that new creations, new styles and designs will be introduced to us. We are living in an exciting time where fashion meets the future!
