Kotaku 'Shop Contest_ The Man In The Moon-Mask

One of the creepy highlights of Square Enix’s 2015 E3 press conference, now a major Kotaku ‘Shop Contest subject. Why is he wearing that mask? Why isn’t everyone wearing it? Video game director Taro Yoko is responsible for the wonderfully dark and twisted Drakengard series and its Nier spin-off (soon to be spin-offs), so as far as I am concerned he can wear whatever he wants in order to support his belief that game designers are not entertainers and his desire not to be seen on camera.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); I quite fancy the moon-mask he wore at presser though. It’s actually the head of a Nier character I will not go into to keep from spoiling anything (play Nier, dammit), but for the sake of simplicity we’ll simply call it a moon-mask. And we’ll put it all over the place. Using Photoshop. Or Paint. Or that other thing people use. Just spread the head, people. We’ll reconvene next weekend to see how far it goes. If anyone wants to isolate the mask and upload as a PNG to make it easier rummy modern for the less-skilled in the audience, drop it in comments and drown in accolades. How To Upload Images — Instructions 1. Create your ‘Shop and save it to your desktop. Images must be at least 636 pixels wide. If they aren’t, you will be playfully spanked. 2. Go to the bottom of this post 3. This brings up a comment window. Click 4. This brings up Click “Choose file” if you’re uploading your ‘shop from your desktop 5. Alternatively, you can upload the ‘Shop to a free image hosting service. I suggest imgur. Then paste the image’s URL into the field that says “Image URL.” Note: this must be the rummy nabob URL of the image itself, not the page where it is displayed. That means the URL ends in .jpg, .gif, .png, whatever. 6. Add editorial commentary and hit submit and your image will load. If it doesn’t, upload the image to imgur and paste the image URL as a comment. I promise I will look at it. 7. Large-size images may not upload properly, though we have seen some big-ass animated .gifs upwards of 5 MB. If you’re still having trouble uploading the image, try to keep its longest dimension (horizontal or vertical) under 1000 pixels, or the rummy noble whole thing under 2 MB.
