Dawn Richard’s latest video falls in the category of her previous releases as being artistic and definitely one of a kind. ‘Wake Up‘ is an up-tempo electronic track with heart-pumping hits and melodic harmonies. “With this era, I want to highlight the marriage of fashion, tech and sound,” D∆WN says. “Wake Up is a fashion film inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Faun … Continue reading D∆WN unveils artistic ‘Wake Up’ MV
I’m calling today’s pick the “Mind-blowing video of the day” because that’s exactly what the incomparable and undeniably talented woman, Dawn Richard, as delivered to us. Like seriously, my attention was held from beginning to end. It wasn’t hard to decipher the meaning behind the music and concept either. Clearly it depicts Dawn’s fight and how she remains strong and still pressing on in spite … Continue reading MBVOD: “Tide: The Paradox Effect” by Dawn Richard
I’m liking the summer vibe to this urban pop single, but I’m a bit sad because they’re a member short. As much as I’m happy for Andrea, I just don’t get why she signed on for the group’s reunion when she wouldn’t be participating in their comeback. Well, anyways, hopefully she’ll be swinging back to DK once she has her baby. But that’s not the … Continue reading Are you enjoying Danity Kane’s “Lemonade?”
Unveiling the kind of sound they’ll be bringing for their long awaited comeback and third album, Danity Kane has unveiled the track, Bye Baby to their anxious fans. I like the song. I like the pop elements along with some funk and groovy r&b thrown in the mix. The track definitely sounds like a Pharrell produced number, but more information regarding the conception of the … Continue reading Danity Kane teases fans with “Bye Baby”
I don’t think I’ve come across an artist these days as determined and hard-working as Dawn Richard. This lady has my utmost respect for her never-ending hustle. I’ve been following Dawn since her days on MTB while trying to earn a spot in Diddy’s then girl group. And I’ve watched the entertainer realize her dream by rising above all odds. Indeed, Dawn embodies that of her album title, a golden heart. Continue reading “Dawn Richard has a ‘Golden Heart’”
Dirty Money’s Dawn Richard has unveiled a
cheap interesting music video for her very passionate single “Save Me From You.” I’ve always been a fan of this singer, not only because she has real talent but mostly because of how believable her lyrics are. Kudos to Dawn for continuing her journey. This is the first single off her upcoming solo album “Golden Heart.” So, check out the video below and tell us what you think. Continue reading “Let’s “Save” Dawn Richard”
Check out the latest music video for Diddy’s (he’s alone on this one cos its about a man dealing with heartbreak) new single “Yesterday“, which features Chris Brown. This song is hot. Chris should consider including it as a bonus on his upcoming “F.A.M.E” album. The talented r&b singer owns this song with his passionate singing. I liked the ‘Mad Max’ concept of the music video, which shows Diddy & Chris in a desert, and a few glimpses of their love interest walking around without a care. Anyhoo, watch the video below, and if you haven’t already, make sure to purchase Diddy Dirty Money’s “Last Train to Paris“. The album is hot. Continue reading “Diddy-Dirty Money ft. Chris Brown “Yesterday” MV”
Dirty Money vocalist Dawn Richard has released a new track titled “Me, Myself & Y” from her latest mixtape “A Tell Tale Heart“, and I’m totally feeling it. Dawn is doing right by releasing her own music while Diddy-Dirty Money is still hot, cos if she takes a break along with Diddy’s latest creation then it’ll be tough to get back, and we all know … Continue reading Dawn Richard’s “Me, Myself & Y”
Diddy – Dirty Money released the music video for their latest single “Coming Home” last week, but I still wanted to post it here just to discuss the song, which I think is a really good record.
“Coming Home” is the group’s fifth single and my third favorite on the album; my first and second being “Love Come Down” and “Hello Good Morning” ft. T.I. The song features Skylar Grey (Grammy nominated singer and songwriter who provided her vocals on the chorus), and was written by Shawn Carter (yes Mr. Jay-Z). Diddy makes reference to a popular song in each verse, and the lyrics seem to depict his life over the years. The music video shows Diddy – Dirty Money walking through a desert with the remains of what appears to be a horrible fire.
Just in case you didn’t take the time to watch the video, I don’t want to give too much away, so please check it out for yourself below:
