R&B music. A genre deemed sexy, sensual, emotional, passionate, groovy, tasteful, for the talented vocalists, and often times contemporary. Like many, I’m a lover of rhythm and blues, in particular the 90s. Because in that era, there were people who actually could sing and performed songs that actually made sense. Its quite interesting how the genre hardly gets any recognition these days, and those who started out … Continue reading Whatever Happened to…?
Release date: 7.4.2012 Label: EMI Music Japan Purchase: CDJapan | Rating: 4/5 I’ve never paid any attention to this artist before. But I’m so glad I finally did. Her music is awesome. Taking inspiration from uptempo genres like dance, electro, and dancehall, to midtempo pop, r&b, and soul, “Believe” is one of the best Urban Jpop albums I’ve heard all year. The heart racing opener … Continue reading Music Review: Che’Nelle’s Believe
Ms. Spears showcases her rock side, a mixture of Avril & Ke$ha, in her latest music video for “I Wanna Go“. I’m not feeling the song but the entertainment projected in the video made up for it. Check it out and vote below: Continue reading Britney unleashes “I Wanna Go” MV
Ms. Spears has unveiled the full music video for her latest single “Til The World Ends“, after giving fans a 30 second tease earlier this week. The video was like an “I’m A Slave (4 u)” part 2. It was awesome. I liked the underground partying. Effects was cool. The video had great artistic direction and I enjoyed it a lot, except for one obvious thing: Britney Spears looked like she was just learning how to dance. Throughout the entire music video my eyes were stolen by her dancers but not her. There was just no fire. No effort. I feel sad for her ’cause she’s not the way she used to be. C’mon Britney what happened? Did your dance fever wore off? Anyways, check out the music video below and tell us what you think. Continue reading “Britney tries to dance “Til The World Ends””
Britney has converted to Dance. I don’t see how people are calling this an entirely pop album, ’cause the last time I checked Pop and Dance are too different genres. And Ms. Spears has transitioned into Dance on her seventh album “Femme Fatale“, with the exception of 3 tracks. I’ve concluded with the fact that maybe the label wanted to conform with the going trend of the industry right now, which happens to be a combination of europop, electro and dance. It’s not that I don’t like the album, that’s quite the opposite. I accept it, but there’s nothing mind-blowing, except the fact that Britney changes her vocals throughout the album so fans don’t tire of it. With no further delay, let me get into more details as to help you understand track by track why this is the most unique record released from the princess of pop to date, and sure enough she’ll be at the top of Billboard next week: Continue reading “[Review] Britney Spears’ “Femme Fatale””
