Ms. Spears has unveiled the full music video for her latest single “Til The World Ends“, after giving fans a 30 second tease earlier this week. The video was like an “I’m A Slave (4 u)” part 2. It was awesome. I liked the underground partying. Effects was cool. The video had great artistic direction and I enjoyed it a lot, except for one obvious thing: Britney Spears looked like she was just learning how to dance. Throughout the entire music video my eyes were stolen by her dancers but not her. There was just no fire. No effort. I feel sad for her ’cause she’s not the way she used to be. Britney has converted to Dance. I don’t see how people are calling this an entirely pop album, ’cause the last time I checked Pop and Dance are too different genres. And Ms. Spears has transitioned into Dance on her seventh album “Femme Fatale“, with the exception of 3 tracks. I’ve concluded with the fact that maybe the label wanted to conform with the going trend of the industry right now, which happens to be a combination of europop, electro and dance. It’s not that I don’t like the album, that’s quite the opposite. I accept it, but there’s nothing mind-blowing, except the fact that Britney changes her vocals throughout the album so fans don’t tire of it. So did you guys enjoy Britney Spears‘ music video for her hot new single “Hold it Against Me“? I did. I must admit there were times I was getting worried that the label was creating all this hype by releasing 1,000 teasers (ok I’m exaggerating) that weren’t even a minute long, and then the video would be disappointing, but it turned out to be worth the wait and the tease. I love the artistic direction, choreo and outfits are hot, and definitely feeling Britney taking on herself in full combat.
