Katy Perry even makes braces look sexy

Vocal diva, Katy Perry, has managed to come up with yet another quirky video. Her newest release “Last Friday Night” is a mixture of 80’s themed clothing and dorky behavior. The video is filled with celebrities like Rebecca Black, who you may know from her one hit wonder, “Friday.” Glee cast members Darren Criss and Kevin McHale also make an appearance in the video. The movie stars Alex Pettyfer (Stormbreaker), Timothy Olyphant (Hitman, Live Free or Die Hard), Teresa Palmer(The Sorcerer’s Apprentice), Dianna Agron (Glee), and Kevin Durand (The Butterfly Effect, Legion). It depicts the story about nine aliens, who look human, that left their home planet to find refuge on earth. However, their enemies have followed them to earth to kill them.

Auto-Tune 2: Will The Real Singers Please Stand Up

Gone are the days when singers were freely and passionately singing without the help of “pitch correction”, yes, I am referring to the infamous auto-tune. This is a continuation of my previous post, “what do you think about auto-tune?” Why the continuation you wonder? it’s because i’m truly annoyed with this audio processor that is plaguing the music industry.

Too many artists are utilizing auto-tune into their music: Ke$ha, T-Pain, The Black Eyed Peas, Akon, Kanye West, Jason Derulo, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, and quite a few others. I found it rather ironic that Jay-Z released a single titled “DOA (Death of Auto-tune)”, but still used the device on another track, and on the same album (ain’t that funny).
