Domestic Abuse, infidelity & An Unusual Family

Jdramas surely know how to stir up ones emotions when they get intense, and Kare, Otto, Otoko Tomodachi was no exception. This series was my first to watch since the start of the new year, and I’m more than satisfied with what I’ve been given. It was only eight episodes lasting about forty minutes each and I stayed up all night watching the entire thing. At first, I was sort of skeptical with how I might receive this drama, due to the fact that two of the daughters portrayed whorish behavior, and the eldest was trapped in a violent marriage that I couldn’t save her from. However, once each character was broken down and the audience got to analyze them individually, you could see the causes behind their behavior and the kind of life they built for themselves.

IS

I’m a devoted fan of Jdramas simply because of how deep and thought-provoking they can be at times or often giving us something to laugh about. So, while I was carefully searching for new series to catch up on, I came across a very compelling drama called “IS ~ Otoko Demo Onna Demo Nai Sei (neither boy nor girl).” The series is based on inter-sexual individuals and the various challenges they go through on a daily basis. Asuko March!

I’m currently addicted to the new Jdrama “Asuko March!” The main reason for that is because the story line is so original, the acting is amazing, a little humor here and there, and the concept is very creative. So if you haven’t been keeping up with what’s going on in the Jdrama world, well then let me introduce you to this new series. 

Talented young actress Takei Emi stars in this school drama as one of three girls who ends up at a technical high school, after failing the entrance exam for the school she aimed for. Why only three girls you might ask? If you guys haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a huge fan of the Asian culture. Over the years, I’ve watched a lot of Jdramas and I thought I’d make a list of my favorite; maybe I’ll give you some cool recommendations. Keep in mind that these are not new, and so far I haven’t found any that I can add to my list. So here goes:
