Marchesa‘s princess-like dresses and gowns are loved by celebrities, and the fall collection offered another round of beautiful looks made with lace, tulle, velvet, and sheer fabrics. The palette, which included black, white, red, blush and pale blue, never overpowered the delicate, intricate designs by label founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig.
Rachel Roy‘s fall 2011 collection was travel-inspired. The models all wore Heidi braids and layered pieces on top of one another to give their looks texture. The day-to-night dresses were key, and a bit of sparkle on certain looks kept them feeling fresh.

Diane Von Furstenberg‘s Fall 2011 “American Legends” collection is designed for the fearless woman. Her line reflected the designer’s Studio 54 days, with hints of gold lamé and her usual vibrant prints. DVF’s signature wrap dresses also made a few appearances, along with bold silhouettes, patterns, and colors. Check out the designs from the runway show below:
