Is It Really “Total Recall” Without Arnold?

I’ve been a fan of Colin Farrell since I spotted the hottie in ‘Minority Report‘ alongside Tom Cruise. His looks were my main attraction, with his acting skills coming second. Still, I support whatever film he stars in because of that attraction and therefore I will be supporting his upcoming summer release ‘Total Recall.’

Though a remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 1990 Sci-Fi hit, Colin looks to be revamping the action packed thrill ride by bringing in his own sexy badass swag. Book Review – ‘Tempest’ by Julie Cross

Well, here’s something that I haven’t done a lot of and promise to start doing more frequently, and that is book reviews. I’ve read a wide range of books over the years and it’s kinda sad that I’m only now deciding to do reviews on EY but hey, better late than never. So, the first book I wanted to start off with is ‘Tempest‘ by Julie Cross. And what interests me about this novel is how intriguing the cover is and also its similarity with the movie/book ‘Jumper’ by Steven Gould, but at the same time there are some obvious differences and a stronger plot in ‘Tempest’ that’s more appealing to me.

Tempest’ is the first in a trilogy and I guess we’re gonna have to wait a while for book two to see what happens next and what kind of progress is made in the character’s life. Cowboys & Aliens is out!


With such a cheesy name I wasn’t expecting the movie to be any better because to be honest I’m not a Daniel Craig fan. However “Cowboys & Aliens” turned out to be quite interesting. There was plenty of action, the acting was alright, and Harrison Ford teamed up well with the new Bond. Not to mention Olivia Wilde is as stunning as ever. It’s a great twist to the usual western flicks mostly about gun fighting; adding a few aliens here and there sure did it for me.  Continue reading “Cowboys & Aliens is out!”
