One cannot deny that plastic surgery does change lives. It’s not all negative; some people choose cosmetic surgery to correct unsightly scars, which is highly understandable. What I don’t get is why the already beautiful choose to go under the knife to get themselves altered, simply because they want to achieve perfection. Is it Continue reading “The Plastic Surgery Club”
A new South Korean female group has emerged (this industry is packed with girl groups), and they’re not you’re usual kpop group. The Piggy Dolls (creative name) are made up of three average (not stick skinny) girls with wonderful vocal abilities. Their debut single “Trend“, is basically about the girls being confident with their appearance and not conforming to the norm of the kpop industry. The group has already released their EP “Piggy Style” on January 6, so be sure to purchase it on yesasia.
Watch the interesting music video below, along with their debut live performance. I’m really liking this group:

Internationally known Kpop group TVXQ has released the music video for their latest single “Keep Your Head Down“. The song is somewhat of a comeback since the group got tangled up in their current situation. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then please do your research, as I do not want to comment about the drama. I simply want to welcome leader Uknow, and amazing vocalist Changmin back into music, and wish them all the best.

I know a lot of people have been saying that Willow Smith is overexposed, and that she’s acting too mature for her age, but I found this group online from South Korea that is in a similar boat. Girls Story is made up of kids aged 10 to 12 years old, and are already at the center piece of controversy in the kpop industry.

I’m completely inlove with After School‘s “Someone is You“, from their “Love Love Love” single album. I have no idea what they’re singing, but all I know is this song is absolutely well composed and filled with beautiful harmonies.
After School is a kpop group that has some really fun dance/pop and r&b songs. The members also participate in variety shows, and star in dramas. They’re very versatile, however pretty underrated in their country. Anyways, After School is a awesome group and I recommend you kpop lovers check them out and purchase their music from yesasia.com
Check out “Someone if You” and also my favorite music video “Bang“:

Meet Taeyang, a South Korean Kpop singer, dancer, songwriter, and producer. He began his training in YG Entertainment, a company for artists wanting to pursue R&B/Urban music, at the young age of 12. After six years of vocal and dance training, he made his debut as a member of BIG BANG.
In 2008, Taeyang released his first solo mini album titled “Hot“. He incorporated mostly R&B songs on the album, as it was the genre of music he loved. He wasn’t as happy with the album due to the fact that he didn’t get the chance to write any of the songs. However, the album was well received by fans and music critic alike; he won ‘Best R&B/Soul Song’ for his single ‘Only Look At Me‘, and ‘Best R&B/Soul Album’ for “Hot” at the 7th Korean Music Awards.

Jade was raised partially in Japan from the age of 3, but spent the rest of her childhood in San Diego. GD & TOP of BIG BANG released the music video for their single “HIGH HIGH” on YouTube, and boy did they create a lot of hype around it. I must admit, the first time I saw the video, I thought it was whack! but as I listened to it and got caught up into the character of the guy calling himself TOP, I started liking it.
“HIGH HIGH” is from their self titled album, which will be released on December 24. “GD & TOP” will also feature Park Bom of 2NE1. The music video for “HIGH HIGH” was shot in a nightclub, not sure of the location, but they had a lot of foreigners up in there. A few members of the YG family, including fellow BIG BANG member Taeyang, who produced the dance number with Teddy, was also seen in the video.
If you haven’t seen the music video yet, though I don’t know how you’d miss it, check it out below:

Seo In Young (former member of popular Kpop group Jewelry) has released her latest single and music video “Into The Rhythm” off her new album “Ellythm“. In Young is definitely a stylish lady and she incorporates that into the music video. The song is pretty catchy and has a cool beat to it. However, I don’t feel like it sets apart from the usual, and … Continue reading Seo In Young’s “Into The Rhythm”
Kpop group After School wears Lanvin for H&M for their new single “Love Love Love”. Lanvin for H&M is popular around the globe it seems; everybody is wearing it, from celebrities to average people. In my opinion, the designs are stylish when thinking fashion, but personally I’m not feeling the looks. source: Allkpop.com Continue reading Kpop Artists Endorse Lanvin for H&M
Kpop group SISTAR (meaning they are meant to be sisters and big stars in the industry) has released their third single album, and I’m definitely loving it. Their explosive vocals grabbed my attention in the intro track “Mighty Sistar“, and continues throughout to the hip hop number “Over“.
The lead single “How Dare You“, is a dance song produced by the Brave Brothers, popular Korean producers who worked on the group’s previous releases. The music video features sexy choreography, but I don’t think it’s over the top as some make it out to be (the MV was banned for its content, specifically a pole/stripper dance concept). In my opinion, there are worse; both song and MV are actually interesting.
Check out the tracks below and watch the music video for “How Dare You“:

The CF/Music Video for 2NE1‘s “Don’t Stop the Music” was recently released and it’s quite the dance number. The song is a promotional theme for the Yamaha Fiore scooter in Thailand. How do you create hype for a new product? Get 2NE1 to endorse it.
The video is quite fun, with a lot of creativity (and colors). The choreography is cool too. In my opinion, the song is good, but without the vocal adjustments, it would be great. Check it out for yourself below:
