The pop star spent weeks learning choreography that involved intricate moves in order to give fans something different from her usual music videos. Rihanna is an island girl, but what I’ve noticed along with anyone else who can see is that the singer doesn’t do choreographed moves in videos. But then again, releasing an album every year and having a tight tour schedule wasn’t granting … Continue reading Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been”: Hot or Flop?

I discontinued my interest in anything that had to do with Rihanna since her dark transformation from a “Good Girl Gone Bad.” Let’s just say that I’m not buying the ‘this is really me now’ bit she’s blabbering about. Besides the evident fact that the male lead in the video has somewhat of a slight resemblance to r&b/pop crooner Chris Brown (must be the horrific bleached blonde hair), there are several scenes depicting heated arguments between the two characters, particularly the one taking place in their car. This led many (excluding me) to believe that Continue reading “Rihanna, at the center of controversy again”
