Dutch rock band Within Temptation has released the music video for their new single “Faster” online. The video starts out the same as their album trailer did, with a creepy old lady writing a letter (taken from the first short film “Mother Maiden“). The concept becomes more intriguing with the scary black and white samples, fueling your anticipation and leave you wanting more. I must say the band is looking pretty fresh and ‘rocking’ in their new video, or maybe I’ve just been missing them. Overall, the music video has a wonderful artistic direction, and I Love Sharon’s outfit as well. Many big names in music are getting ready to release their new albums in March. From Britney to Avril, March seems to be the deadline for all. Among the many, some artists are making more highly anticipated comebacks, while others will end up being slept on. So just whose album are you anticipating the most? Here’s my list below:
Meet Within Temptation, one of the most popular Metal/Rock band from the Netherlands. The band was formed in 1996 by vocalist Sharon Den Adel and her partner and guitarist Robert Westerholt, and describes their music to be Symphonic Rock.
Within Temptation became known in the Dutch underground scene after releasing their album ‘ENTER‘ in 1997. They made their way into mainstream in 2001 with the release of their hit single ‘Ice Queen‘, from their second album ‘Mother Earth‘. ‘Ice Queen’ reached #2 on the Dutch charts, and the band won the Buma Export Award four years in a row, due to the fact that they had the most records sold.
